The Summer Studio in Classical Architecture introduces students pursuing careers in architecture and its allied fields to skills and resources essential to the practice of classical architectural design today.

Over four weeks in New York City, students build a foundation in classical architectural design through coursework in:

• The classical elements and principles of composition
• The literature of classical architecture
• Proportion and geometry
• Traditional urban form
• Observational and analytical drawing and rendering
• The study of precedent
